Settling in periods

Once you have booked your child into nursery the manager will allocate three separate settling in periods for you to visit with your child.

These visits are normally one hour long and give you a chance to meet and get to know your child's key person.

During this visit, you will also complete an induction booklet, which helps us to maintain continuity between home and nursery.

Changing Rooms

When your child is ready to move to another room (usually at age 1, 2 and 3 yrs) you will be invited to spend some time in the nursery whilst your child settles into his/her new room.

This will enable you to meet your child's new key person and give you the opportunity to see how your child will learn and achieve in their new room.

What do I need to provide?

When you join the baby room/toddler room, we ask you to bring the following with you:

  • 4 or more nappies (daily if required)
  • Wipes (If required)
  • Any comforts i.e. dummy, blanket (if required)
  • A change of clothes
  • Cream if needed (sudocrem/suncream)

You can provide bottles and cups for your child if you prefer, these can be taken home or sterilised at nursery. We do have a selection here if this is easier for you.
